The story

How SSR Motorsports happened.

SSR Motorsports built its name on a simple arbitrage: import capable, affordable machines and let Americans discover that fun doesn't require a five-figure loan. Pit bikes made them famous; the catalog now spans minis, dual-sports, mopeds, and electric balance bikes for the smallest riders in the family.

Nobody restores an SSR in a museum, and that's the charm — these are machines you actually use, drop, fix with normal tools, and hand down to the next kid. Every riding family needs a gateway. SSR builds gateways.

Things to know

Questions we actually get.

Are SSRs good quality?
They're honest machines at honest prices — simple engineering, easy parts, perfect for learning and thrashing. Set expectations at 'fun,' not 'heirloom,' and they overdeliver.
What age can kids start?
Electric balance minis suit riders as young as preschool with supervision. Ask us — we'll match the machine to the kid, not the other way around.
The tribe

Who rides the sign.

SSR culture is backyard tracks, pit-bike races at family barbecues, and the sacred tradition of adults absolutely sending it on a child-sized motorcycle. It's the least serious corner of powersports, which makes it arguably the most important.
