Those two white domes you've stared at from I-15 your whole life? There's a dirt road to them, it starts in Farmington, and it's open to the public. The Farmington Canyon road climbs 5,000 feet in eleven miles of switchbacks — rocky, occasionally rutted, absolutely worth it — to the FAA radar station at 9,547 feet, where the entire Wasatch Front lays out below you like a map of your own life. Lagoon's coasters look like toys. Your house is down there somewhere. Your lawn needs mowing. It can wait.
