Skyline Drive climbs out of Bountiful and runs the crest of the Wasatch north to Farmington Canyon, past Bountiful Peak at over 9,000 feet. It's the connector that turns the home mountains into a system: up the B, along the ridge with the lake glittering below, down Farmington Canyon — or reverse it, or tack on Francis Peak and make it an epic. The gates open late (snow lingers on the crest into July) and the surface ranges from graded to attention-getting. This is the ride we mean when we say we'll 'test' something after work.
